Becky Owen
I love working with people and have committed my adult life to working with children and families in various capacities. I came into law because I wanted a profession that allowed me to teach, foster intellectual curiosity, and build meaningful and ongoing relationships with others. I practice family law exclusively because it brings me so much personal and professional satisfaction, and I am honored to have the opportunity to guide clients through what is likely the most difficult time of their life.
Family law is a complex field, since cases often involve a vast array of issues, including mental health, chemical dependency, valuation of assets, tax, real estate, among others. On top of that is the fact that no one family is alike. I take great pleasure in meeting new clients, analyzing the issues in their case, assisting them to find the right professionals and providers to fit their needs, and helping them achieve their goals. Clients can tell that I love my work and often praise my direct, compassionate, and empathetic approach.

I have experience handling all facets of family law matters: divorces, custody disputes, child support, division of marital and non-marital assets, modifications (to custody, parenting time, or financial support), same-sex second-parent adoptions and grandparent rights. I will be your advocate from beginning to end.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family or dog, complicated cooking projects, and reading.
